WE WISH TO PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE FOR ALL OF OUR PATIENTS. IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THIS, WE WANT TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF OUR OFFICE POLICIES.

Cancelation
Policy

We require 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointments. If you fail to show up for your appointment you may be charged.

There is a high demand for appointments with our team. When patients do not provide adequate notice to cancel an appointment, it is time taken from other patients who may be suffering with an immediate requirement.

Appointment 
Times

Whenever possible, we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment in order to fill out any necessary forms. Arriving late to your appointment may result in your appointment being rescheduled and charge for the doctor's time.

Test Results

Please do not call the office for results, patients will be contacted regarding any abnormal results.  If you with to discuss test results, please contact our patient care team to schedule an appointment.

Services Not Covered

 Alberta Health and Wellness does not cover all medical services; including but not limited to, all classes of Driver's License Medicals (Class 1-7), form completion (Disability & insurance included) and doctor's notes.  There may be a fee for completion of these forms.

Abusive Behaviour

This medical centre has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior.  FFMC is committed to providing a safe, secure & respectful environment for our doctors, staff & patients.  Abusive behavior of any kind will be considered grounds for permanent dismissal from the clinic.

Patient Non-Discrimination

Equal care will be provided to all patients, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, physical ability or attributes, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Patient Responsibilites

1. Contact Information - Please update us when there are changes to your information. this way we can contact you in a timely manner

2. Routine Prescription Refills - Please book appointments 3-4 weeks ahead of when you will run out of medication. This allows us to keep our last minute appointments open for urgent medical needs. 

3. No Shows - If you are not able to make your appointment please call the office to cancel. We now understand that things need to be canceled, even canceled last minute. Giving us notice allows us to better arrange the physicians schedule for the day and to see patients who may have urgent needs. You will be billed for no shows appointments. 

4. Respect Staff - We will not tolerate any abuse towards staff; yelling, swearing, rude or aggressive behaviour. If you have a concern with a staff member we ask that you respectfully ask to speak to the clinic manager or a physician about you concerns.
